About the Book:
Just as the Nizam’s Hyderabad stood firm, Saleema Ali Khan too never settled for the cards that life dealt her. Her dreams may have seemed extravagant to some, but at the heart of it, all Saleema wanted was to be valued and loved; what most didn’t know was the lengths she would go to make her dreams, a reality.
As the British Raj retreated, and the winds of independence blew towards Saleema’s beloved Hyderabad Deccan, would she be able to keep control? Saleema certainly believed so! Unravelling was simply never an option, both for Hyderabad and for Saleema.
