Run ; On Press is born out of a need; the need to celebrate Pakistani literature and writing through the joys of independent publishing and presses! Our aim is to help Pakistani writers navigate the work of getting their books out in the world.
Run ; On Press aims to provide boutique publishing services to up-and-coming and established Pakistani writers. We want to work with novels that we feel strongly about and manuscripts that we can champion!

Reading Period
Writers send in their work. We evaluate all the submissions and choose who we work with

We work on editorial changes with the writers to make sure the work is in its best shape!

Final Planning
Every book will require us to work with different line editors, type setting experts and cover artists. We’ll plan all of this with the authors and finalize our final plan, budget, and shares

Submission Criteria
We are only reading fiction in English
We are reading novellas (up to 40,000 words) and full length novel manuscripts
Please only submit if your manuscript is complete
Please only submit in .docx or .pdf formats
Please do not submit work written using an generative AI technology.
For novellas, please submit the entire manuscript. For full novels, please submit ONLY the first three chapters.
Along with your manuscript, please submit a one to two page cover letter; this should outline the work you’re submitting, the story behind the story you’ve written as well as an introduction to you!
